Rius

My Rius checkout did not finish. What now?

Rius tells you what happened when you return from Stripe, on Settings → Plan & usage, and gives you a button to finish or restart. If you left the Stripe page before paying, nothing was charged and your plan is unchanged. Click Continue to payment to go back to the same Stripe page, Check again if you did pay, or Dismiss to pick a plan later. If the checkout expired or the payment did not go through, click Try again. Only organization admins can subscribe.

How it works

When Stripe sends you back to Plan & usage, the page reads “Confirming your payment…” and then “Payment confirmed” once the payment goes through. The plan is active right away. If checkout did not finish, the page shows one of these messages instead:

  • Checkout not finished: you left the Stripe page before paying, for example with its back link. Nothing was charged and the plan is unchanged.
  • This checkout expired: nothing about the plan changed.
  • Payment did not go through: nothing about the plan changed.

In every case your organization stays on the plan it had before, so you can retry safely. If your trial has ended, ingest is refused with HTTP 402 and the spans sent in the meantime are dropped, not buffered. Everything already stored stays readable. Subscribe to start sending traces again. For how Rius prices the calls you send, see Track LLM and agent cost.

Set it up

  1. Check that you are an organization admin. Members see “Only organization admins can manage billing.” Ask an admin to subscribe if that is what you see.
  2. Open Settings → Plan & usage and read the message at the top. It tells you which case you are in.
  3. Pick the action that matches the message:
    • Checkout not finished: click Continue to payment to return to the same Stripe page. If you did pay and the confirmation is late, click Check again. To pick a plan later, click Dismiss.
    • This checkout expired or Payment did not go through: click Try again and choose the plan again.
  4. To start over from the beginning, follow this path:
Settings → Plan & usage → Choose a plan
  1. Pick a plan. Each one lists its price, what is included and its overage rate. On the Subscribe to summary, enter a promo code under Promo code and click Apply if you have one. Then click Continue to payment.
  2. On the Stripe Checkout page, enter your card and billing address. Stripe adds the tax that applies to that address.
  3. Wait for Stripe to send you back to Plan & usage, which reads “Payment confirmed”.

A few details that matter on a retry:

  • A promo code only works on a new subscription. If you go Back from the payment step, the code is kept and the plans it covers show the discounted price.
  • Subscribing during the trial ends the trial. The remaining trial days are not kept.
  • If the page reads Payment did not go through, click Try again and pay with another card.

What you get

  • A checkout that did not finish leaves the plan as it was, with no charge.
  • Once payment is confirmed, the plan is active right away, and ingest works again if the trial had ended.
  • The plan you pick sets your monthly span allowance and overage rate. Core is $19 / month with 500,000 spans and $14 per million over. Growth is $79 / month with 2,500,000 spans and $12 per million over. Pro is $199 / month with 10,000,000 spans and $10 per million over. Prices are in US dollars, billed monthly, before tax.
  • After you subscribe, Manage billing opens the Stripe customer portal. There you can update your card, download invoices and cancel.

If an existing subscription has a payment problem, the same page guides you:

  • A payment method is needed: click Add a card. Adding one does not change the plan.
  • Payment failed: ingest keeps running while Stripe retries the charge. Click Add a card to pay with another card, or use the link in Stripe’s email. If every retry fails, the subscription is canceled and the organization is locked. An admin can then subscribe again from Plan & usage.

For the full plan table, limits and trial rules, see Plans and billing.

When something else fits

  • If Plan & usage shows no message and you still cannot subscribe, write to help@glassflow.ai.
  • For larger volumes, an Enterprise plan is arranged through help@glassflow.ai. Pro does not stop at 10,000,000 spans: spans beyond it are billed at $10 per million.
  • If you only want to change or cancel a plan you already have, use Change plan or Manage billing instead of starting checkout again.
